Another small but important typo:

Should say 'no small part', it seems.

Gen, another fine ticker BUT I think you knocked yesterday's out of the park. Pin that one up at the top.

Since September it's just gotten colder and colder. There's less daylight now, I've noticed too. This can only mean one thing - the sun is going out. In a few more months the Earth will be a dark and lifeless ball of ice.

This was another marvelous Ticker. I passed it along to the trading desk at STI corporate, where my nephew works as a trader. He has lost virtually all his 401K holdings from the five or so years he put in at Fannie. When I visited him in July, he was hoping for a rebound, but was preparing for the worst. If he has anything interesting to offer I'll pass it along.

While both Fannie and Freddie are making noises about "putbacks" of fraudulent originations, exactly who are you going to put them back upon? Indymac and Countrywide were the two largest "shovellers" in this regard, and guess what - neither exists in a form that they can be "put" upon today with any degree of success.

awesome ticker as usual Karl, but need more readers

I've been contacting one site per day...

Editorial writer to consider for your site

Hello,

I've read your site for years and have found many of your linked editorials/articles to be very informative. Many are refreshing to read, as they cut through the mainstream media disinformation and lies concerning the real state of our economy.

I urge you to check out an economic editorial writer named Karl Denninger, who I do not believe has had an editorial of his posted on your site. I have been reading Karl's website for months and so have many, many other readers that are fed up with the daily deception from most media outlets. Karl dedicates many hours of his time at absolutely no charge to the public to inform us about what is really going on in these dangerous financial times, cutting through the constant lies from our mainstream media, politicians, and bankers. His website http://market-ticker.denninger.net/ is a must read for those that care about truth, and those that want to protect their families as much as possible from the financial crisis that is heading our way (or already here).

Thank you for your consideration in posting Karl's writings. His editorials would definitely add to the already high quality of your site, and the content would be a perfect fit. You might want to check out his Thursday editorial entitled "Put Exercise Gentlemen!". It's a beauty (http://market-ticker.denninger.net/).

Sincerely,
xxxxxxxxx

Ah yes, but money obtained by fraud is often recoverable very deeply.

Sir Isaac Newton said, "If I have been able to see further than others, it is because I have stood on the shoulders of giants."

In my opinion, Karl Denninger is one of these giants, in the modern world.

I'll march with a sign, on Wall Street, in New York City, on a weekend.

Franky, I find it very hard to call any of the tickers better than any other. They are each masterpieces really. I have never read one and not come away with a "aha, so that's how that works" feeling.

A lot of it has to do with Karl's extremely accurate usage of English and well formed sentences (thoughts). He knows how to explain something with with a good analogy to something we already understand.
